What It Is

Chlorophyllin is a water‑soluble derivative of chlorophyll (the green pigment in plants). The particular form in this supplement is sodium magnesium chlorophyllin. It is sold in vegetarian capsules.

Key Components / Dose

Each capsule provides 100 mg of chlorophyllin (from sodium magnesium chlorophyllin).

Other ingredients: inactive fillers like microcrystalline cellulose, silica, vegetable stearate; capsule shell (vegetable cellulose).

Typical suggested dosing is one capsule three times daily with food, or as directed by a healthcare provider.

Purported Benefits

Antioxidant protection
Chlorophyllin helps neutralize (“quench”) free radicals—damage‑causing molecules formed from normal metabolism, environmental toxins, and processed/high‑heat cooked foods.

DNA support / protection
It may help inhibit or reduce bonding of foreign or potentially harmful chemicals to DNA. That means it could help reduce DNA damage from environmental exposures (like pollutants, smoke, or dietary compounds formed in browned or fried food).

Mitochondrial health
Supports healthy functioning of mitochondria, which are the energy-producing parts of the cell. Protection from oxidative stress helps keep mitochondria working better.

Detox / protection against environmental‑ and dietary toxins
Because of its chemical properties, chlorophyllin may help reduce harmful impacts from toxins, processed foods, or heat‑damaged foods on the body’s cells.

How It’s Taken

Take with food (helps absorption and to reduce possible stomach discomfort).

Usually spaced across the day when using multiple doses (three times per day in many recommendations).

Because it’s a supplement, consistency over time helps.

Considerations / Possible Risks

As with many antioxidant or “detoxifying” supplements, human data is less robust than animal / lab studies. Some claims are promising, but more clinical trials are needed.

If pregnant, nursing, or managing a health condition (especially one involving the liver, blood, or detoxification), consult a healthcare provider.

Avoid exceeding the recommended dose.

People with allergies or sensitivities should check the full ingredient list.

Supplements are not substitutes for a balanced diet, avoiding environmental exposures, or medical care when needed.
